About Nagpur

Nagpur, located precisely at the centre of India is the largest city in central India. With a population of approx 3 million, Nagpur is the 13th largest urban conglomeration in India. Nagpur is also a major commercial and political center of the Vidarbha region and due to unique location, also a major logistic hub. It is also famous throughout the country as “Orange City” for being a major trade center of oranges that are cultivated in the region. Another unique distinction of Nagpur is its proximity to atleast 7-8 tiger reserves which also makes Nagpur as the Tiger Capital of the world. Out of 1500 odd tigers left in the world around 400 are in the 200 km radius of Nagpur.
